By creating an account, accessing, or using Talents (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. About Talents

Talents is a financial tracking app that helps you manage personal or shared ledgers, budgets, recurring expenses, and spending records.

• Personal and shared ledger management
• Budget, expense, and category tracking
• Recurring templates and annual summaries
• CSV exports where your plan and permissions allow them
• Password reset, account-security, ledger invitation, and optional monthly insight notifications by email
• Billing and paid-feature activation via Stripe

Talents is provided as an organisational tool only. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your credentials secure
• Be responsible for activity on your account
• Only invite collaborators who are authorised to see or manage the ledger data you share
• Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access

You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account, because security and recovery links are sent there.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not use Talents to:

• Break laws or regulations
• Attempt to breach or test system security without consent
• Upload or process illegal or harmful content
• Use shared ledgers, exports, or invitations to disclose another person's data without permission
• Interfere with service stability or other users

5. Payments, Billing, and Refunds

Paid features are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details.

• Charges, billing updates, and payment failures are managed through Stripe flows
• Access to paid features may change if payment fails or is reversed
• Receipts/invoices may be sent by email where applicable

Refunds: Unless required by applicable law, digital service payments are generally non-refundable once access is granted. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at info@talentsft.co.uk and we will review your case.

You can manage subscription renewal from the Billing page in your account.

Paid limits and features, including ledger boosts, collaboration, and exports, may vary by plan or one-time purchase.

6. Financial Information Disclaimer

Talents helps you track and organise financial data. It does not provide regulated financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

You are responsible for decisions made using information in the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Talents is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Talents, including its design, code, and branding, is proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws. Your own ledger and transaction data remains yours.

9. Service Availability

We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Downtime may occur for maintenance, updates, incidents, or third-party outages.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Talents is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data, loss of profits, or losses resulting from decisions based on app data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Talents at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached or where required for safety, security, or legal reasons.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms are effective when posted. Continued use of Talents after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
